It Is Worth The Wait

One thing in life is certain: everything that is worth having requires us to go through a process in order to obtain it. Regardless of whether we choose to accept this, God seems to think that this is the best method (Ex. 23:29). As we all know, Father knows best (smile). God does not require us to wait for the purposes of providing Himself with a little bit of entertainment at our expense. He requires us to wait because we do not mature overnight. The maturation process, whether spiritual or natural, requires time in order for all of our character aspects to be developed and refined. Taking into consideration that we were conceived in sin and shapen in iniquity (Ps. 51:5), the things that God has prepared for those who love and serve Him cannot be placed into the hands of those whose character has not been or is not being conformed to the image of the Lord Jesus Christ. To do so would be to entrust the keys to the Kingdom to those who could potentially use them in an abnormal manner and pervert the purpose of the gifts by using them abnormally. So this is a call to embrace the processes of life. Allow God to build and mold the godly character within you through Christ Jesus. When we reach the end of the process, we will find that it will all have been worth the wait…#‎thinkonthesethings‬
