Reboot: Life, Pt. 1

The mundane activities of life can lead us into a state of monotony. A monotonous state can lead us into a routine state wherein we reach a stalemate and become ineffective, as well as, non-productive. At some point, if this behavior continues, we can literally become counterproductive. To use an example of daily life, when our computer systems become overworked and “freeze up”, we, sometimes, have to engage in a certain set of activities that causes the computer to shutdown in order to make the computer functional again. This is what is known as rebooting.

In life, we go through similar processes. We become so overwhelmed by the daily goings-on within our lives that we literally shutdown spiritually, psychologically, and physically. At this stage in life, we need a moment to “reboot” in order to get back on course. Paul instructs the group of believers at the church in Corinth to,

“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?” (2 Cor. 13:5)…#‎thinkonthesethings‬
