Size Does Not Always Matter

In worship, when we render an offering to God with “clean hands and a pure heart,” God is only concerned with whether we have given our very best to Him (Ps. 24:4). Everyone is living at different levels and places in life, but it does not mean that we do not have anything to offer to God just because someone’s socioeconomic status and quality of life is perceived to be somewhat greater than our own. It is just that…a matter of perception (Lk. 18:9-14; 21:1-4).

God has the supernatural ability to see our most intimate thoughts and knows the condition of our hearts before we present ourselves before His presence (1 Sam. 16:7; Acts 5:1-11). We tend to believe that a person who has professed to be a believer for more than 25 years is more prone to be accepted because of the length of time in their “relationship” with God. But God will have just as much respect for the cry from the heart of a newborn believer as He would from a person who has been saved for 25 years (Mt. 20:1-16).

We need to understand that sometimes the little that we have to give is more than the greater given by others. We cannot withhold what we have because it is not as much as someone else’s offering. God only wants us to give our very best to Him. Size does not matter…Just give God your best!…#‎thinkonthesethings‬
