Without embracing and living a lifestyle of worship, our lives are and will always be incomplete. We attempt to fill in all of the voids of life with things in a belief that those will make us live a happy and fulfilled life, but as King Solomon warns us in the Book of Ecclesiastes…it is nothing more than a meaningless existence of vanity. Solomon concluded his self-reflection by stating,
“Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth…Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man…” (12:1,13).
God never intended for us to merely exist. Existence is not, nor ever will be, synonymous with living. Christ stated in John 10:10,
“…I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly…”
Christ gave His life in order for us to began to live again. In order to live, we must embrace God’s complete package of salvation and redemption, which includes living a lifestyle of worship in spirit and in truth (Jn. 4:23,24). We have to “abide” in Christ and He must “abide” within us in order that His “…joy might remain in you (us), and that your (our) joy might be full…” (Jn. 15:1-11). Apart from having the life of Christ living within us, we are filled with the emptiness of existence…#thinkonthesethings
