The benefits of the Kingdom cannot be accessed by just anyone. It must be understood that the benefits of the Kingdom are appropriated for Its citizens through the Blood of Jesus by God. As a result of answering the call to salvation through faith in Christ and His atoning work on the cross (Jn. 3:3, 16; 10:9; 14:6), we become recipients of life eternal and have been granted access to the keys of the Kingdom by which we become heirs to the promise to Abraham (Gal. 3:13, 14), as the Scriptures said:
“…and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed…” (Gen. 12:3),
“…But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law , that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ…” (Gal. 4:4-7).
We must continue to study the Word of God in order to understand who we are and what belongs to us as citizens of the Kingdom…whether we receive it in this life or in the life to come. We cannot allow the enemy of our souls to deceive us into living beneath our Kingdom privilege because if God is our Heavenly Father, and Jesus the Christ is our Lord and Saviour…then everything that belongs to God becomes ours as we have been made not only children,
“…but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit Itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together…” (Rom. 8:15-17)…
