“And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock?” (Num. 20:10)
What is amazing is that Moses begins his discourse by saying, “Hear now, ye rebels…” Yet his next course of action was disobedience to the command he received from God. We, sometimes, tend to look at the faults of others while looking right pass our own deficiencies. God gives us a reminder to examine ourselves before we point our fingers at others. We just may be guilty of the very thing of which we are accusing them.
