The True Meaning Of Success

Fulfilling the Kingdom's calling...

As I sit here this morning, reflecting on life and searching for something to write, one thing comes to mind: the need for constant prayer. After reading the various headlines during the past week, there is so much we can place before the Father in prayer. One thing is for certain: We will never run low on things to express our concerns about in prayer. We must really pay close attention to the signs of the times as discussed by Christ Himself (Lk. 21:7-19, 36).

While we must not give up on living our lives to the fullest, we must also not allow ourselves to become so captivated by the things of this world to the point of becoming distracted from the things which matters most. The people of the world must know Who Jesus Christ is and make a conscious choice to either accept Him or reject Him as their Lord and Saviour, as well as, God’s Son. They must also know that Jesus is coming soon. The Apostle Paul states,

“How then shall they call on Him in Whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of Whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent?…” (Rom. 10:14, 15).

Kingdom living encompasses successful life-building, but it also calls for soul-winning (Mt. 28:18-20). We, as believers in the Body of Christ, can never be successful if we are not winning souls and influencing lives and life changes for the Kingdom of God. Our understanding of success needs to be shaken, not stirred. If our understanding is stirred, what was once understood will eventually settle and remain. Conversely, if our understanding is shaken up from its very foundation, then there are grounds for reconstructing how we view our approach to the world.

Preaching Christ’s death, burial, resurrection and ascension to the right hand of the Majesty on high must always comes first…in every thing we do and in every thing we say…

All lives depend on it…
