Real Talk…Have you ever heard someone says this? It speaks to a following statement representing something to be received as believable. This is an attempt to persuade another about the credibility of the spoken statement. So what you see below will be what I call…Real Talk…
Real Talk. Failure to succeed in fulfilling our Kingdom assignment is no longer an option. The times are changing and the urgency within the atmosphere demands action from us all. How must we respond? Well, the call has been issued, and our response should be a simple, but adamant “Yes!”
Real talk. The pace at which things are evolving does not appear to be slowing down anytime soon. This leads me to believe that we must increase our efforts to fulfill our Kingdom assignments. We must also begin to look outwardly beyond ourselves and see the need in the communities around us. Collectively, we pass thousands, if not millions, of people in need on a daily basis. What have we done with our resources to meet the need?
Real talk. We hold the keys to someone else’s release. God designed us to possess gifts that would meet the need of others. These people cannot function fully nor freely if we fail to step up and function in our respective places. How does it feel to know that we are preventing someone else from fulfilling purpose because we are not fulfilling our purposes? This is an extremely sobering thought.
Real talk…the question now becomes: What will we do about it moving forward? What changes will we make? When we return to the mirror, what will we see? Will we see an inspired member of the Christian community? Or will we continue to see the same person as before?
Real talk. We have some serious introspection to engage in and some serious decisions to make…sooner than later!
“…See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil…” (Eph. 5:15,16).
