Divisive Conversations…

Divisive conversations prohibit productive dialogue from taking place.

Divisive conversations prohibit productive conversations from taking place. They also prevent the healing process from beginning as well. I heard once, “If you are not a part of the solution, then you are a part of the problem”. It has also been said, “Don’t bring me more problems, bring me solutions”.

I admit a little disappointment that people decided to focus on only one pastor from Houston during this tragic ordeal. Especially people professing to be Christians. The City of Houston has 30+ other pastors who shepherd large mega church congregations also. So why point out one? Many of those offering their opinions are jumping on the bandwagons created by others with no firsthand knowledge of what’s going on. My grandfather used to say, “If you’re not an eyewitness, then you’re a false witness.”

So ask yourself…Am I a part of the solution, or a part of the problem?

  1. Good question! I would have to say that I am part of the solution only because I support relief organizations that are there doing God’s work. We may not hear about it. But theY are still there!

  2. Beautifully stated! Thank you for sharing
