“Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof…” (Mt. 6:34).
Problems come and problems go. This is a certainty of life. We sometimes tend to allow these problems to consume our thoughts to the point of affecting other areas of our lives. In addition to this, it tends to disrupt our overall health and wellness. The sad part about it is that many times we lack the capacity to resolve these problems on our own.
Today, I say to you…”Fret not…” First thing to remember is that tomorrow is not promised to any of us. Therefore, if the problem is too large to be resolved today, then why do we allow ourselves to worry about it. We can only do what can be done during the course of the current day in which we are living. While we are doing this, we have to learn to entrust the rest to God and believe that He has already provided an answer to the problem.
How can you live your best days now? For your part, do whatever God has empowered you to do today. For God’s part, trust in God to take care of your daily needs for both now and in your future according to His will for your life. Therefore, there remains no reason for us to worry. This is a team effort…none of us can do it alone…and God does not expect us to…
